Megasoid X Sixtoo = TURBO CRUNK!
Turbo Crunk, Lazer Bass, Glitch hop... Whatever you want to call it, this bastard child of Hip Hop is killing me at the moment. One of the main perpetrators is Sixtoo, a Montreal based beatmaker and mastermind of the notorius Megasoid parties. Below you will see a Megasoid mix, and a set Sixtoo did for a french Podcast called Masala. All of the aforementioned deserve your attention, the mixes are a roll-call of the key players of this emerging scene Lazer Sword, Fly-Lo, eDit etc etc and the masala podcast is formidable even if you cant speak French... Just dont forget about mine :-p

Can anyone explain why the masala podcast appears to be introduced as a magabo mix? there website and all info says that its Sixtoo. It sure sounds much more like Sixtoo doing his Megasoid routine than any Magobo stuff i've heard. Tres Bizarre!

Hey Nico, we didn't use a link from a previous podcast. It's actually a radio ad for a Baile MTL night where Maga Bo and Sixtoo/Speakerbruiser were playing together the week after that mix has been recorded live during our radio show.
PS: We're doing the bridge burner again this year in august, if you guys are in MTL.
